Guerrero Brotherhood Established 2015

The Guerrero Brotherhood was formally founded by Judge Ralph S Lee, on December 10, 2015 in Quezon City Philippines.

It is guided by the biblical motto on unity & brotherhood:

“One standing alone may be overpowered, two together can withstand, but three is even better for a rope braided of three chords is hard to break.”

— Ecclesiastes 4:12

Guerrero is a surname of Spanish origin meaning warrior.

A Guerrero is a crusader and a person of character.

With humility and character as its core values, the Eight (8) Pillars of Guerrero Brotherhood was written and codified.

As to qualifications, we in the Brotherhood do not really care about what your title is. We care about the fabric of your character and the respect that you show to other human beings around you. “Equal you or more than you” is the standard qualifications in accepting its members.

The Brotherhood also recognizes the values of trust and loyalty. Trust is earned, respect is given, and loyalty is demonstrated.

We are also mindful of nine (9) core ethical principles namely:

  1. Do no harm
  2. Respecting autonomy and independence
  3. Benefiting others
  4. Being Just
  5. Being Truthful
  6. upholding Dignity
  7. Treating others with care and compassion
  8. Pursuit of excellence
  9. Accepting responsibility.

The Eight (8) Pillars of Guerrero Brotherhood.

  • G, a GOD-fearing person & who puts our Lord in the center of his life;
  • U, an UNDERSTANDING Brother to a Brother with a sense of connection, cooperation, and a shared purpose in personal and professional relationships, & valuing the strength and potential that comes from working together towards common goals.
  • E, an ENCOURAGING Individual, an EXAMPLE and an inspiration to others; he strives for EXCELLENCE i.e for the highest standards of performance and quality in all aspects of life, continuously seeking improvement and growth.
  • R, with a RESILIENT character, who always put his best foot forward; and also an
  • R, who is RESPONSIBLE in all his works and dealings; he is Reliable& being dependable, consistent, and trustworthy in all aspects of life, honoring one’s commitments and promises, and following through on responsibilities. He Respects & treats others with dignity, consideration, and empathy, valuing the thoughts, feelings, and experiences of others, and fostering an environment of mutual understanding and support.
